Why I founded Vikaraa

I founded Vikaraa because I saw too many ERP projects succeed technically but fail to deliver lasting business value. Systems went live, yet teams struggled to adopt new ways of working, processes remained fragmented, and organizations never realized the full return on their investment.

Across organizations of every size, I saw the same pattern: a business hit a bottleneck, invested in new technology, and expected the software to solve it — without first defining how it wanted to operate. Technology cannot compensate for unclear ownership or processes that haven't evolved with the business. Change management is the foundation of successful transformation, and it's the piece too many projects skip.

Long before my career in finance, I trained in Odissi classical dance, where discipline and fluidity depend on one another, not oppose each other. That balance — rigor and grace — is the standard I bring to every engagement. The true measure of success isn't a smooth go-live. It's whether finance is stronger, more agile, and better equipped to support the business years later.
